Maybe it’s the sunny weather but FQ has come over all hot and bothered.
Miss Scarlet has tracked down “boylesque” performer Buck Fast to find out just why he likes taking his kit off in public, while I met the editor of Filament, a forward-thinking ladies’ mag which has run a successful campaign not only to print photos of attractive naked men, but -whisper it- aroused attractive naked men.
It’s not exactly unusual to see images of semi-clad women in public, from eye-level mags in W H Smith to a recent billboard by Lynx, usually known for their progressive attitudes to women, featuring a real girl in a bikini waving from a giant jeans pocket. But whereas the semi-naked male form has begun to feature in ads and mags in recent years, it’s very rarely as a serious, erotic image. The Chippendales are cheesy, in Cosmo they’re clutching potplants and teatowels, and the last time an erection was sold to women was on a hen night’s deely-boppers.
What do you think? Do you rue the lack of female-friendly erotica? Would you go to see a male stripper? Do you agree with Filament‘s campaign? Let me know. . .
